![The easiest way for me to defeat firebombs is to have Lulu, Rikku, and any high-physical damager with counterattack and magic counter on their weapon in my party. It’s also a huge bonus to have Lulu’s level-4 sphere ability, Doublecast. First, make Rikku steal from all the firebombs, which have some pretty decent items you can use for customization and aeon abilities. Then, have Lulu doublecast the highest blizzard magic available. (or demi, if you’re so inclined) Then, have a physical-damager equipped (IE, Auron, Tidus, Wakka, Kimahri) with a counterattack/magic counter weapon so that every time the firebomb attacks you can automatically hit them back without them detonating whatsoever.
